Terms of use

The short version, which is also the whole version

Last updated 12 September 2026.

Who you are agreeing with

First Thought is made and operated by CraftCore Works LLC, a Georgia limited liability company. These terms are the agreement between you and that company, and “the app” below means First Thought.

Your content is yours

Everything you write in First Thought belongs to you. The app claims no rights over it, uses it for nothing but showing it back to you and syncing it between your own devices, and never shows it to anyone else. You can take a complete copy out at any time, and you can delete the cloud copy at any time.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use First Thought.

Your account is your email address: signing in is a code sent to it, or a sign-in service that vouches for that address where the app offers one. You are responsible for that email account and for what is done with it. If you think somebody else can read it, sign out everywhere from Settings › Your data and secure the email account itself.

What the app promises, and what it does not

Fair use

Do not use the app to store material you have no right to hold, to attack the account service, or to interfere with other people's accounts. An account used that way may be closed.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Georgia, in the United States, without regard to its rules about which law applies. Nothing here removes a protection your own country's law gives you and does not allow you to sign away.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and the change will be plain to read here. Continuing to use the app after a change means accepting it.
